How do I go about applying to DERMALOG?

The best way to submit an application is via our online application portal. To apply, simply click the “Apply now!” button at the bottom of a job advertisement. If a vacancy is no longer advertised, you can send us your speculative application using this form.

What documents will I need to submit in my application?

We would like to receive a curriculum vitae in which you detail several points about what you have done and achieved at each stage of your career. This will give us a good first impression of your particular skills and professional experience. A cover letter and references are optional, but round off an application in an ideal way.

A special note to trainees and dual students: We do require a cover letter and references from you, so that we can get a more comprehensive idea about you despite your CV still being rather at this stage in your life.

Can I apply for several positions at the same time?

It is possible to apply for several positions at once. However, when we receive applications, we do always think about whether an alternative position in other areas might be suitable. This ensures that your application is processed in the best possible way.

How does the application process work?

The various different steps in the application process are outlined on our Careers page. You will be interviewed by someone from the relevant department, together with a colleague from the HR team. The mood will be relaxed and we aim for it to be an opportunity to get to know one another: for us to gain an initial impression of you, both professionally and personally, and also for you to get a first insight into us.

How can I best prepare for the online interview?

We hold the online interview in Microsoft Teams. Please be sure to test that your microphone and camera are working before the interview. It is best to be somewhere quiet when the interview is taking place. If this isn’t possible, please let us know at the beginning of the interview if we need to be prepared for background noise or any other disturbances.

Is there a dress code I need to follow?

More than anything, we look forward to meeting you and learning more about your expertise. In the interview, wearing a shirt or blouse does of course make a good impression, but generally speaking we don’t have a dress code at DERMALOG, except for when it comes to client meetings.

Who will have access to my application documents?

The HR team and those colleagues who are involved in the selection process. This might be, for instance, a team leader or a technical expert from the team.
